Hello!
That really is awesome, I've just discovered (the eighth time on the ads above and right!):
Since Freenet offers but on actual mobile Internet, DSL Speed up to 7.2 kbits / sec!
On such slow internet I can remember no more, because I did not even own any. And as my friends in 1999 were at their computer at that time there were no ISDN kbit early as the 56 / Cable!
This is in Freenet gone very wrong, of course, they mean a speed of 7.2 Mbit / s, and 7.2 kbit / s. That's 1000 times!
I personally use so regularly since early 2005, mobile Internet on the mobile phone (I was traveling a lot, and there is a fine thing, and since 2008 I use this for my laptop. A fine thing, so I I am still here in Bühlau 3.6 Mbit / s are present and can thus keep pace with an average DSL connection in terms of speed.
Unfortunately, the limited mobile Internet forth the amount of data transferred so that for people to the Internet a lot are not really a full-fledged Replacement is. I'm still using an older contract from a third party of the Vodafone-linked, and can "burn" because 10 GB per month. Currently most of the contracts my mobile web are limited to 5 GB, that is, after that the speed of "broadband" speed on most of the 64 kbit / s restricted, which one then has a speed as ISDN ago 10 years normally allowed.
But that's no longer up to date, we can then use the 64 kbit / s no longer view videos on the Internet (for example, YouTube, or in the libraries of TV channels), loading particularly demanding of the pages look and presentation lasts forever ago (for example Bild.de, Opel.de), and also some other nice thing on the internet then you can forget to be seen when the throttle.
Now everyone has a different browsing behavior and not everyone has as much time as I use the Internet and as intensely as I do. But since I month, on average 15 to 20 GB of traffic (data volume), had my quota is already on the good half of the time consumed, and the rest of the month I may torture me then through the Internet! Too bad.
So I'm always in front of me as if I have a fast car, but what I only once a month for 15 allowed to hunt minutes on the unlimited Autobahn, and it's already over, then I may not drive during the month, then again in the garage, because the automaker did not like it because it might otherwise too much is used ...
There are so many other people who do not like the limits in mobile data services as well. But apparently it will not the network operator! Maybe otherwise the network is overloaded. Who knows?
And I would also like to pay 5 or 10 euros more per month if I should use for a greater (sufficient) volumes. So I'm not so ;-), but even that is not in it (for now), I have already requested (for Vodafone). Too bad!
probably say, mobile operators, mobile Internet is for the road, because it takes normally not very large, because then the other things done at home anyway at the computer with internet connection. Yes, but then there are people like me, for example, can not get for some reason do not want cable or internet.
as I live in a nice furnished room, which you can simply hire so, and since I now have time Vodafone raised because of an Internet connection. But even though the landlord was nice enough even to allow me to let me put DSL into the room, I got from Vodafone told that the telecoms can provide no free line available.
Even O2 can offer nothing.
and so there are also regions where the lines have no fast internet can be provided. There you can really only as an alternative to fall back on the mobile Internet on the mobile, which is usually much better and as the Internet via the phone lines. But there just the speed is reduced from a certain volume. And who has used good look at the Internet (and a fuel gauge, etc.) has, knows how quickly 5 GB are used up.
But back to Freenet, back to today's advertising display on the Freenet website of the newspaper industry.
I have then made the extra effort, and have in part of the company called in northern Germany, to take back to their advertisements, something went wrong. Perhaps that is not even noticed?
on the website where you will then were directed if you click on the offer, the way it is right: High Speed Internet up to 7.2 Mbit / s is there.
All right, but not an April joke, what I thought at first almost ...
on the mobile Internet services even better again!
All the best wishes from Dresden
Rolf Schreiter
PS. On a fairly new offering from Vodafone, I read the "fine print" that when a data transfer rate of 14.4 Mbit / s is reduced until a volume of 10 GB, and not, as now most common in 5GB, that would be me not help so real.
